Bengals will practice at Bearcats’ indoor bubble during Super Bowl LVI prep

For the first time during the Zac Taylor era, the Cincinnati Bengals will use the University of Cincinnati’s indoor practice bubble to prep for a game.

That game happens to be Super Bow LVI against the Los Angeles Rams.

The Bengals rarely use any weather as a reason to move practices and game prep but will make an exception this week given the major ice storms set to hit the area.

The Bearcats’ facility is roughly four miles from Paul Brown Stadium, so it’s not the biggest ordeal for the team to pack up and move a practice. This will undoubtedly bring up criticisms (and rightfully so) about the team’s lack of an indoor facility of its own, but as for actual logistics this week, it’s a minor housekeeping note.

Cincinnati will practice there before heading west to warmer settings early next week. Media won’t be present at the practices due to COVID-19 protocols.
