The Cincinnati Bengals and Los Angeles Rams hold joint practices this week in Cincinnati, the first day of sessions on Wednesday.
That’s a slow build toward the two teams encountering each other at Paycor Stadium on Saturday at 6 p.m. ET in Week 3 of the preseason.
While there is the obvious Zac Taylor-Sean McVay connection and both coaches hope to avoid any fights that have plagued training camps across the NFL, the fact this is a Super Bowl rematch makes that a big question mark at best.
Below, we’ll track live updates from the day, including highlights and reactions, oldest to newest.

Aaron Donaldson vs. Cordell Volson was SOMETHING.
Donald did a stutter step, then lunged right past him in a blink.
Good learning lesson for the kid.

A fun 7-on-7 period today. Bengals WR Ja’Marr Chase matched up against Rams CB Jalen Ramsey for a couple reps. Chase not targeted on both of them.

It’s been a really efficient start for the Bengals offense in 11s. Joe Burrow is throwing the ball around, finding Hayden Hurst for consistent pickups and Tyler Boyd for a big gain.

A fun wrinkle to today’s practice. Zac Taylor is watching the Bengals defense. Brian Callahan is calling plays for the offense.

Chrisman said Sunday he wanted to work on hang time and his first 3 punts against the Rams were were over 4.5 seconds. Huber had 2 strong and high directional boots. pic.twitter.com/szLLpt0wAm

Aaron Donald barely laid a hand on Joe Burrow for a “sack.”
A small gathering of differences occurred. Nothing more.
But, just know that AD isn’t allowed to even touch Burrow. #Bengals

Final play in 2 min, Hilton and Flowers collide breaking up a Stafford pass for Kupp and Vonn Bell picks it off.

McPherson GOOD from about 57 to end practice.
