The Cincinnati Bengals have expertly crafted the roster since the beginning of the Zac Taylor era.
At a time when discourse about how the Bengals will keep this current championship window around Joe Burrow open feels tense, it’s a little easy to forget that fact.
But the job done by Bengals director of player personnel Duke Tobin and the front office in marrying their vision to match that of head coach Zac Taylor has created a perennial contender.
Sure, things weren’t always smooth, especially early, but those things happen when overturning a program that had been steady under one head coach for more than a decade.
