Bengals rookie Amarius Mims will play through brutal injury

Cincinnati Bengals rookie offensive tackle Amarius Mims has had a busy week.

Mims suffered an injury during Week 16 and also turned heads for a sideline spat with line coach Frank Pollack.

It turns out Mims will play through a different injury in Week 17 when his Bengals take on the Denver Broncos. According to ESPN’s Ben Baby, Mims suffered a broken hand last week.

Mims will wear a club on the hand when he lines up at right tackle. This week, he was on the injury report with an ankle and hand designation, though it sounds like the hand is the bigger concern at this point.

When Mims discussed his heated sideline exchange last week, it boiled down to wanting to be out there in front of Joe Burrow. Injury or not, he will on Saturday as the Bengals hope to keep their playoff hopes alive.
