The Cincinnati Bengals could have a long list of names they like available to them at the 28th pick in the 2023 NFL draft.
Case in point, one quick glance at a graph provided by ESPN’s Seth Walder, which puts percentages on the chance certain prospects are available at No. 28.
Some notables? The model says tight end Dalton Kincaid hovers around the 30 percent mark. Fellow tight end Michael Mayer is closer to 50, which makes sense given the recent buzz he could be gone earlier.
Popular Bengals-related prospects like offensive tackle Darnell Wright and defensive lineman Calijah Kancey are in the Kincaid range.
Likely to be available? Defensive linemen Bryan Bresee and Adetomiwa Adebawore, offensive lineman Cody Mauch, tight end Darnell Washington and cornerback Emmanual Forbes, to name a few.
As always, the draft is near-impossible to predict and this is one tool worth looking at as an expectations-setter. It’s interesting to see the breakdown, if nothing else, while keeping in mind some of the possible values the team could net so close to the end of the opening round.
