The Cincinnati Bengals brought on new offensive line coach Scott Peters to replace Frank Pollack ahead of a critical 2025 offseason.
Peters, who has connections to Bill Callahan (who has connections to Zac Taylor) has established himself as a rising mind in the NFL.
The reactions to Cincinnati’s hire tell the whole story.
Peters will oversee the development of first-round tackle Amarius Mims, plus likely be the main person responsible for helping to find and develop two new starting guards in front of Joe Burrow this offseason.
Most reactions suggest that Taylor and Co. made a good choice for such a daunting task.
SCOTT PETERS WILL MAKE THE BENGALS GREAT AGAIN. MARK MY WORDS. HE IS A HANDS ON, SMART, UP DATED WITH THE LATEST TECHS ON PASS AND RUN AND WILL DEVELOPE YOUNG GUYS TO THEIR MAX. HE IS THE TOP NEW OL COACH IN THE NFL WAY BEYOND ALL EXPECTATIONS.

Bengals tap Scott Peters—the Patriots OL coach last year, and Bill Callahan’s right-hand man from Cleveland—to take over as OL coach. Managed a really, really tough situation in New England last year.
(The connection here: Callahan was Zac Taylor’s college coach.) https://t.co/94Oq2jZYtu
