It’s all about Ja’Marr Chase as the Cincinnati Bengals get ready to take on the Kansas City Chiefs in Week 17.
As if it weren’t enough that Chase’s status for the game remained a question mark, the star wideout got in front of cameras and had some pretty interesting things to say about those Chiefs.
Namely, Chase was his typically blunt self in a way that the Chiefs will 100 percent utilize as bulletin-board material and motivation before kickoff.
Tack on a few interesting other items and it became a pretty big news day in a hurry.
Here’s a look at the must-knowundefined Bengals news, notes and quotes for December 29.
Ja'Marr Chase slams Chiefs
Chase got asked a question about the Chiefs defense and wasn’t too nice during the response. Honest, arguably, but not nice. Then, asked to talk about how he he thinks those players might react, Chase doubled-down.
Chase upgraded
Chase, by the way, was upgraded on a Bengals injury report that is otherwise pretty standard, which points to his making a return.
