Bengals met with pass-rushing prospect at scouting combine

The Cincinnati Bengals have been active in the visits department at this year’s scouting combine.

One of the big notes was the team meeting with Georgia tight end Brock Bowers. And Bengals coaches also met with another notable tight end prospect.

How about another? Adding to the defensive pass-rush is on the table as early as the first round too, so it makes sense the team met with Penn State’s Chop Robinson, who had four sacks, two forced fumbles, and a pass deflection.

Given the lack of a pass-rush last year besides the elite effort put in from Trey Hendrickson, it only makes sense the Bengals are putting the top names through the paces.

Robinson himself spoke about the meeting with the Bengals:

He also had an incredible day of testing, to say the least:

In short, keep him in mind when running those mock draft simulators.
