Bengals make roster move ahead of Week 17 vs. Chiefs

The Cincinnati Bengals made a minor roster move exiting Week 16, waiving defensive tackle Domenique Davis on Monday.

This is how the Bengals started prep for Week 17 with the housekeeping move. It’s one that potentially sets the stage for No. 1 cornerback Cam Taylor-Britt to come off injured reserve as his steady ramp-up continues.

Davis was added to the 53-man roster before last weekend’s loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers as the team sought more depth after losing DJ Reader for the season.

After adding a waiver wire claim and having time to see how the roster continues to shape up with two games left, this is one of at least two roster moves the team will make before playing the Chiefs.
