Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow went into the locker room in the second quarter of Thursday night’s game against the Ravens after seeming to have some pain in his throwing hand following a pass.
He was initially considered questionable to return, but Cincinnati announced shortly after halftime that Burrow would not return to the game.
Burrow first went into the medical tent to be looked at before he quickly returned to the sidelines. He attempted the throwing motion a few times, but Amazon Prime cameras caught Burrow looking upset with what was going on as he struggled to grip the football. Moments later, he sprinted to the locker room.
Jake Browning entered the game as the Bengals’ backup quarterback.

When the Bengals arrived in Baltimore, a video caught Burrow wearing a brace or wrap of some sort on his throwing hand. He wasn’t on the injury list ahead of Thursday night’s game.
Before Burrow exited the game, he had completed 11-of-17 passes for 101 yards and one touchdown.
