Ja’Marr Chase of the Cincinnati Bengals was given one honor Thursday. He hopes to earn a bigger one on Sunday in Super Bowl 56.
The Bengals’ wide receiver drafted fifth overall out of LSU was named AP Offensive Rookie of the Year.

Chase thanked his parents and teammates for the honor.
He also said the concerns about his drops early in the season only made him stronger.
Chase made 81 catches for 1,455 yards and 13 touchdowns. Fifty-six of his grabs went for first downs.
