Bengals’ Ja’Marr Chase Asks Chad Johnson to Pay Fine If He Can Mimic a TD Celebration

Bengals receiver Ja’Marr Chase doesn’t shy away from celebrating touchdowns in exciting ways—it's a trait he shares with former Cincinnati receiver Chad “Ochocinco” Johnson.

Ahead of the team’s Sunday Night Football matchup vs. the Bills, Chase gave a proposition to Johnson regarding an idea for touchdown celebration.

One of Johnson’s most famous celebrations is when he grabbed a camera from around the end zone and started acting like the cameraman. Chase told reporters on Thursday that he would mimic this iconic celebration as long as Johnson pays for the fine.

Johnson promptly replied to Chase’s wish: “Say less I’ll pay the fine.”

Now, Chase will just need to see the end zone on Sunday night in order to fulfill this idea.

Last week, Chase did a backflip in the end zone at Levi’s Stadium.

Through seven games this season, Chase has scored four touchdowns, along with totaling 656 yards on 60 catches.
