Cincinnati Bengals cornerback Mike Hilton uses his social media for good.
The good being the potential betterment of his team.
Hilton hit up social media recently and dropped a note about how New England Patriots corner J.C. Jackson might be a good fit with the Bengals.
Jackson’s been in a well-publicized spat with the Patriots when it comes to his lack of a long-term deal, which could ultimately result in a franchise tag. Hilton commented on a social media post that caught one of the notable quotes from Jackson.
Jackson, 26, could enter free agency looking to be paid like a top-five corner. He leads all corners in picks (22) since 2019 and last season had an 82.7 PFF grade with eight interceptions.
The Bengals will be looking for corner help this offseason after likely saving some cap space by cutting Trae Waynes, though odds are the big expenditures will come along the offensive line.
That, of course, won’t stop Hilton from trying.
Before this, Hilton put his Twitter account to work trying to recruit Houston Texans offensive tackle Laremy Tunsil, one of the most-speculated trade candidates of the offseason.
@MR_INT I know a spot where you’ll be much appreciated 🤷🏾♂️ https://t.co/ETcOaAaYf1
