The Cincinnati Bengals won’t have two key members of the trenches when they play the Dallas Cowboys on Monday Night Football.
Cincinnati’s final injury report confirmed that left tackle Orlando Brown Jr. won’t be able to go due his knee injury, something largely confirmed by Bengals head coach Zac Taylor earlier in the week.
That same injury report cemented the idea that defensive lineman Sheldon Rankins won’t be able to play, either. He missed Week 11 due to a viral illness, then the game after the bye and will once again miss with the same listing.
On the offensive side, the Bengals already benched Cordell Volson for Cody Ford at left guard, so Andrew Stueber or otherwise could start at left tackle in place of Brown. On the defensive side, rookies Kris Jenkins Jr. and McKinnley Jackson will take on bigger roles in a rotation with BJ Hill.
