The Cincinnati Bengals now enter crunch mode as the coaching staff attempts to formulate a final 53-man roster ahead of the NFL’s deadline early next week.
Coming out of the preseason finale against the Washington Commanders, quite a bit seems easy enough to figure out when it comes to the final roster.
What’s tricky is how the team handles number of players at certain positions. Do they keep just three running backs or tight ends in order to slip through more players elsewhere? Do they get risky by trying to slip a guy they like to the practice squad as a stash? What about injured guys like La’el Collins?
As things stand now, here’s our final attempt at a 53-man outlook before the team makes an official one soon.
