Cincinnati Bengals fans and otherwise had plenty to react to after the team clashed with the Baltimore Ravens on “Thursday Night Football” in a game with plenty of major injuries and more referee mishaps.
Chief among those headline items, of course, was a wrist injury suffered by Joe Burrow that knocked the star passer out of the game in the first half.
The end result, a 34-20 Ravens win, knocked the Bengals to 5-5 on the season.
But of more import in the immediate aftermath was that injury to Burrow, so that’s where most of the reactions focused right after the game ended.
Burrow was cooking too. SMH. 100 & Tuddy w/ All the momentum. Football is unpredictable as it gets you just never know.

All sorts of injuries.
Maybe playing an extremely violent game on short rest isn’t a good idea like we’ve all been saying for 5 years?

Burrow and Hubbard talking on the sidelines. The vibes don't look great.

Y’all took those victory laps about Cleveland yesterday and now look at us.

Between Burrow appearing to say he felt something “pop” and seeing his demeanor, I would wager I guess it isn’t a broken pinky.
My two cents.

The Steelers and their unwatchable offense are gonna win the division because all the other QBs in the division are hurt, aren’t they?

Thanksgiving in cincinnati is just gonna be drunk uncles yapping about how aj mccarron should be leading a playoff push

Alright Cincinnati fans I don’t mean to be dramatic. But this feeling sucks. All my thoughts are with Joe Burrow. That man works his ass off to be one of the best QBs. But just one day I want to see my team win a championship. I was born in 1993 and haven’t seen one. Pain.
— Brandon Saho (@BrandonSaho) November 17, 2023
There are 0 Bengals who don’t look sad and frustrated.

If Burrow is indeed out for awhile:
Tank.
Add a top-10 pick to the roster.
Get the 4th place schedule.
Thrive. https://t.co/Zk6yx1zOv8— Andrew Russell (@Andrew_Russell7) November 17, 2023
Guys, they’re not beating anyone left on the schedule with Jake Browning. Not with this defense. Not with any of it.
— Willie Lutz (@willie_lutz) November 17, 2023
Welp. Bengals drop to 5-5 after Joe Burrow exits the game with a wrist injury.
Keeping our fingers crossed and our breath held.

A Washington WR? in the First round? At a time like this? https://t.co/ZK3v4RdpOw

I’ve seen enough. Browning holding onto it. AJ next week if Joe can’t go.

Man that 4-1 stretch might hurt the wrong way now.
I need this team to stumble into Marvin Harrison Jr https://t.co/DuutSU8JkB
