On a day the Cincinnati Bengals lost two stars to injury, the biggest injury news came after the team’s win over the Cleveland Browns.
Buy Bengals TicketsAccording to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport, defensive end Trey Hendrickson suffered a broken wrist, an injury he played with during the fourth quarter.
Hendrickson is expected to miss at least a few weeks, which means the team will lean on Joseph Ossai at the spot in Week 15 against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Week 16 against the New England Patriots, if not longer. He’ll get the start across from Sam Hubbard.
The injury cuts into another fantastic season for Hendrickson, who over 13 games has six sacks, two forced fumbles and three passes defended and is second behind only Myles Garrett in pressures.
#Bengals pass-rusher Trey Hendrickson suffered a broken wrist in today’s game, sources tell me and @JamesPalmerTV, and he’s expected to miss a few weeks. He actually played the fourth quarter with it, somehow.
