Bengals DE Trey Hendrickson expected to play vs. Cardinals

The Cincinnati Bengals won’t have wide receiver Tee Higgins against the Arizona Cardinals on Sunday — but the defense should have star pass-rusher Trey Hendrickson on the field.

According to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport, Hendrickson should be able to give it a go despite the questionable tag from the final injury report.

Hendrickson has been the lone productive pressure creator for the Bengals so far this season, so it was mildly concerning to see him pop up on the report with his back listed as the reason given how he battled those issues for the bulk of last year.

Joseph Ossai could see extended work in a rotation after slowly being eased back into things over the last handful of weeks.

Rapoport also notes that cornerback Chidobe Awuzie, who has already been somewhat limited this season, is a 50-50 shot due to a back issue that popped up this week.
