The Cincinnati Bengals were present at another pro day, this time taking a look at UTEP linebacker Tyrice Knight, who they have shown some interest in.
New Bengals defensive assistant Ronnie Regula was the one who was present to watch the linebacker.
In his four seasons with UTEP, Knight ended up with 391 tackles, 33.5 for a loss, 8.5 sacks, 17 passes defended and five forced fumbles, showing he has a very solid tackling ability.
The Bengals currently are set at linebacker, so adding Knight would just be a depth move, but he is projected as a mid-round pick so it wouldn’t be too costly to add him to the room, and it would give him time to develop under Logan Wilson and Germaine Pratt.
