With the Cincinnati Bengals officially picking at No. 18 in the 2024 NFL draft, now feels like the right time to step back and look at all of the players drafted in that slot in recent years.
The Bengals head to that pick and overall draft with a variety of needs, though some of those will hinge on what they do at specific positions beforehand such as wide receiver (Tee Higgins), offensive tackle (Jonah Williams) and others.
Luckily for those Bengals, the hit rate on the 18th pick looks pretty impressive over the years and includes quality defensive backs, linemen and more.
Cutting this retrospective off at 2007 just feels right, too, considering the Bengals used the 18th pick that year on a fan favorite who had a stellar career in Cincinnati.
