Ben Williamson looks set to spend the season with Partick Thistle, according to a report.
The Rangers youngster is currently in Germany with the rest of the first-team squad as Michael Beale and his staff put the Light Blues through their pre-season paces. The Ibrox outfit have brought six new faces to the club to date as players old and new look to bond both on and off the park to make a fast start when the competitive action rolls around.
But youngster Williamson looks set for another campaign away with the Scottish Sun reporting he is expected to hook up with Kris Doolan's men on his return from the camp. He spent last season on loan at Dundee as he helped them lift the Scottish Championship title and secure a return to the top flight in Scotland.

The Jags have lost key players in the shape of Ross Docherty, Kyle Turner, Kevin Holt and Scott Tiffoney but the arrival of Williamson to the ranks would come as a huge boost.
Doolan and his staff will be hoping he can make a similar impact at Firhill as he did at Dens Park as the Jags bid to go one better this time around.
They suffered heartache to Ross County in the Premiership play-off final. They at one point held a three goal lead in the tie but a collapse allowed the Staggies back in before they held their nerve in the penalty shootout to break Thistle hearts.
