Ben Shephard and Kate Garraway wished Good Morning Britain correspondent Pip Tomson all the best for the future as she announced her exit from the ITV show.
Pip joined the presenters in the studio as she thanked Ben and Kate, as well as the rest of the GMB team while struggling to hold back tears.
Kate told the broadcaster: "Excited for you and your future but you're going to be a huge loss to us on the team and me personally," and Ben added: "Excited for your adventures, Thank you for being a lovely part of the team."
"It's been an absolute joy what you see at home is really what it's like, it's a great family, everybody is just amazing to work with," Pip replied.
"Why are you leaving then?," Ben questioned as Pip began to break down in tears.
Kate exclaimed: "Don't cry," as Pip composed herself and added: "I know, but new adventures await and it's just time. But, it's been fabulous so thank you everybody."
Entertainment editor Richard Arnold interjected and joked: "Are we working in the same place?"
"She doesn't crossover with you very often," Kate quipped before Pip cheekily joked: "I've got a load of cash in my back pocket from the boss for saying that."
Pip took to Twitter to announce her departure and praise the Good Morning Britain team.
Alongside a series of snaps from her time at GMB, she wrote: "The sun is now setting on my (almost) 10 yrs at Good Morning Britain & ITV. Its been both fun, infuriating, inspiring & unforgettable. Proud to play a part in such a great show. But so excited about what’s coming next @gmb #itv."
One fan replied: "You are very talented. I wish you well for the future," and another added: "One of the loveliest people in the telly business. Good luck, Pip!"
A third added: "Good luck with the new challenge, hopefully it will see you on screen more often Pip," while someone else shared: "Good luck pip thanks for all your fabulous reports."
"You're leaving??? Why??? Nooo! Good luck for your future endeavours," another added.
