Kerry Needham, the mother of toddler Ben, who went missing in the Greek island of Kos 28 years ago, said her heart stopped when she saw this remarkable picture of her granddaughter.
The pictures of Ben and Kerry's youngest granddaughter, 14-month-old Aurora, may have been taken three decades apart, but the pair have an uncanny resemblance - and the family pics have left Kerry and daughter, Leighanna, 25, “utterly shaken”, reports the Mirror .
Kerry, 46, from Sheffield, spotted the photos while flicking through a Facebook album on Mother’s Day.
She said: “When I spotted Aurora’s picture it shocked me.
“It’s heartbreaking to look at but comforting to know he’s living through my princess.”
Ben would have turned 30 this October and has been missing for 28 years after vanishing on July 24th 1991, on the Greek island of Kos.
He was with his grandparents while mum Kerry worked at a local hotel, when he disappeared moments after playing with his toy cars.
