Ben & Jerry's is giving away free scoops of ice cream next week in Edinburgh.
The annual Free Cone Day celebration, which started in 1979, will take place on April 8 at participating scoop shops.
The firm said the day is about showing appreciation to the ice cream brand's loyal customers.
Last year saw record-breaking attendance, with more than one million free scoops handed out.
Dave Stever, chief executive officer of Ben & Jerry's, said: "Free Cone Day has always been about gratitude – we want to thank our fans for being the best fans in the world with free ice cream and a moment of pure joy.
"This year, more than ever, we’re reminded how powerful those small moments of happiness can be.
"We can't wait to connect with our fans over a scoop of ice cream on the most Ben & Jerry-est day of the year."
Free Cone Day started as a simple thank you gesture from co-founders Ben Cohen and Jerry Greenfield to fans for supporting them through their first winter in Vermont.
It has since grown into a worldwide event, enjoyed by fans in more than 35 countries.
Those looking to take advantage of the sweet giveaway simply need to turn up at a participating scoop shop on the day.
Options for flavours include classics such as Cookie Dough and Chocolate Fudge Brownie, Cherry Garcia, and non-dairy favourite Cookies on Cookie Dough.
