Ben Frederickson: Ten sports traditions I hope don't come back after the shutdown

I miss first pitches.

I miss the unmatched adrenaline of postseason hockey.

I miss the optimism of college football spring scrimmages.

I miss moments, like Jordan Binnington subtly nodding his head after a monster save, and scenes, like The Arch looking down on the Cardinals on a sunny Sunday afternoon, and the minutiae I took for granted, like arguing about each day's lineup.

This coronavirus shutdown has taught me I miss almost everything about our shuttered sports world. Emphasis on almost. The more I think about it, and I've had plenty of time to think about it, here are the 10 things I hope don't come back:
