Zigor Aranalde is set to join Javi Gracia's backroom staff at Leeds United after serving as his assistant at Watford, Valencia and Al-Sadd SC respectively.
The Spaniard traded his long-time role as chief scout at Brighton & Hove Albion to join forces with his fellow compatriot Gracia at Vicarage Road in 2018.
And Aranalde is now expected to team up with Gracia once again following his short-term appointment as Leeds manager.
Ben Foster has been discussing Aranalde's influence on the players during his stint at Watford, and says he is a man who the players can rely on emotionally.

"He was top - an absolutely top man. He was very good at integrating himself amongst the players and becoming a bit of a shoulder to cry on," Foster revealed on his podcast The Cycling GK.
Gracia has added three new faces to his backroom staff with Mikel Antia and Juan Solla arriving along with Aranalde. Solla has worked under Gracia at 10 different clubs, while Antia previously worked as part of Rafa Benitez's staff at Newcastle United.
Aranalde would help Gracia lead Watford to an 11th place finish in the Premier League during his only full season at the helm, as well as guiding them to the 2019 FA Cup final.
The former left-back played 22 times for Sevilla in La Liga before dropping down into the lower divisions to feature for Walsall, Sheffield Wednesday and Carlisle United respectively.
The 41-year-old served as chief scout for Brighton following his retirement, before spending a year as assistant manager of Spanish side Albacete. He returned to his role with the Seagulls and spent a further five years at the Amex Stadium.
