BBC TV host and adventurer Ben Fogle has offered a rallying cry to everyone looking for some last-minute motivation ahead of running the London Marathon on Sunday Ahead of the big race which will see 50,000 people compete in the ultimate endurance test, celebrity engagement platform Cameo asked Ben to give people a pep-talk to encourage them to keep going to the finish line.
Addressing runners ahead of the gruelling 26.2 mile run across the capital, Ben took to Cameo and said: “You are about to take part in one of the greatest endurance events.”
To hype people up, Fogle encourages runners to “think about the money you’re raising for charity” and “think about the personal growth you’re going to have when you achieve this momentous, momentous endurance event.”
Fogle urges runners that, “when you’re very close to hitting that metaphorical wall, just visualise that metaphorical end line […] Go for it, London marathon runners!”
