Ben Foden says Nicole Scherzinger and Thom Evans 'engagement on the cards'

Nicole Scherzinger and Thom Evan 's engagement could be 'on the cards', according to pal Ben Foden.

Ben spoke to OK! last week about a potential engagement being announced soon for his friend.

The 36 year old was asked whether he is still close to Thom after they appeared together in band Try Star boys on Celebrity X Factor back in 2019.

This also happens to be which is where Thom met Nicole and their romance started.

Ben revealed he'd recently met up with Thom on a night out, which could be when marriage was mentioned as well as getting advice from Thom's brother Max about appearing on ITV's Dancing On Ice.

He said: "I am in touch with them. Max Evans, Thom’s brother, did Dancing on Ice so I’ve spoken to him about it. I saw Thom just before we flew over to do this, during Halloween, I saw him and Nicole and two of their friends.

"We had a few nights out. Me and Thom have been in and out of each other’s lives since we were 18, so it’s always fun catching up with him and making sure when the stag do is happening I can get an invite!"

The rugby star then went on to explain that Nicole and Thom seem to be very happy together but they don't seem to be rushing things.

He added: "I don’t think they are putting a time limit on it, they’re just getting to know each other. They’re very new to it. If they are going to take any advice for Jackie and I, it would be to go for it!"

Thom, 36, and Nicole, 43, confirmed they were dating back in January 2020 and are regularly seen having a great time on holidays together.

Nicole recently took to her social media to announce that the Pussycat Dolls tour had been cancelled after being postponed.

She said she was 'incredible saddened' for the tour to be cancelled after it was supposed to go ahead in 2020, but the coronavirus pandemic meant it couldn't.

However, other band members Jessica Sutta and Carmit Bachar claimed they didn't know the tour had been cancelled.

The pair took to Instagram to release a joint statement where the wrote: "We want to say how incredibly disappointed we are to learn of an announcement made on Instagram that the Pussycat Dolls reunion tour is cancelled. As of now, there has been no official notification of that.

"Either way, it seems as though it's the end of a chapter to an incredible, life altering experience filled with some awesome memories that we will forever be grateful for.

"To the fans, we love you. Trust us, this is not the outcome we had hoped for. We wanted it as much as you because we appreciate you all so much and it hurts our hearts you had to wait so long for an answer, but unfortunately it's out of our control."
