Ben Foden's wife looks fuming after he is first DOI axed after moving from US for show

Ben Foden 's wife has been left fuming after her husband was the first celebrity to be axed from this year's series of Dancing On Ice.

The rugby player's wife Jackie Belanoff-Smith looked incredibly annoyed in paparazzi snaps after her husband was booted off last night’s episode of the popular ITV skating-come-dancing show.

Back in the UK after living it up in the US, the ITV skating show was supposed to be Ben's 'big break' – which could definitely be the reason why his wife looks so annoyed.

Ben declined a return to his New York rugby team, and has been reportedly debating a move back to the UK with his American wife, in order to see what success they can garner over here.

Snapped by the paps while leaving the Dancing On Ice studios together, the couple could be seen driving away from the show with Ben in the drivers seat, whisking them away.

Looking unimpressed by the outcome from hours before, Jackie glared at the photographers who were snapping away while the pair departed from Bovingdon ice rink.

Ben appeared to look content while at the wheel, donning what looked like a black hoodie, while his wife sat beside him donning white attire and looking rather grumpy.

The paparazzi snaps came as Ben was booted off Dancing On Ice 2022 last night, making him the first celeb to depart this year's series.

The rugby player and Celebrity X Factor star was voted out by all of the judges – Ashley Banjo, Oti Mabuse, Jayne Torvill and Christopher Dean.

Ben was up against TV presenter Ria Hebden in the skate-off, alongside her professional skating partner Łukasz Różycki.

Ben and his professional skating partner Robin Johnstone skated against Ria and her pro, with the results being grim for the rugby star.

Speaking to hosts Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield, he praised his pro partner after three months of training for the ITV show.

He said: "I really have enjoyed it, this woman is incredible and it's the people who make this experience."

Phil said the standard was so high this year suggesting Ben might have been at a disadvantage.

He replied: "I know, I thought there’d obviously be someone who couldn’t skate, and it turns out it is me! Literally everyone was so good."

Ben added he was excited to see how everyone else got on as the weeks go on.

As for Ria, the pair had received a decent score of 24.5 after taking to the ice for the first time last week - but it wasn't enough.

Ria ended up staying to skate another week, while Ben was booted off – much to the dismay of his wife Jackie, as well as hundreds of fans.
