Ben Foden 's wife has sarcastically claimed she wants him booted off Dancing On Ice swiftly to prevent him from cheating on her.
The rugby ace, 36, shocked fans earlier this week when he called fellow celebrity skater Rachel Stevens "the sexiest woman in the world".
Wife Jackie Belanoff Smith has jokingly thanked concerned fans for being so "vigilant and smart" when worrying about her partner's potential infidelity on her behalf.
The businesswoman took to her Instagram Stories on Thursday to ridicule the suggestion Ben would cheat on her with the former S Club 7 singer - sarcastically urging her followers not to support her husband on the ITV show.
Jackie - who married the dad-of-three in 2019 - wrote: "Current mood: just getting so nervous by all the comments everyone's been making, you've all convinced me my husband's gonna cheat on me!!!
"Hoping for him to get voted off those show Sunday so he doesn't have an affair with Rachel, please don't vote for him on Sunday!"
The tongue-in-cheek post continued: "He's going to cheat on me if not already if he stays in! Thanks for all your concerns, you all just know your stuff!
"Thanks for being so vigilant and smart.. in this day and age it's just wrong and stupid to have faith and trust in someone you love."
Speaking in the past, Jackie has claimed the so-called Dancing On Ice curse doesn't concern her in the slightest.
"Someone said this and I was like, 'What curse?' I'd heard of the Strictly curse, but not a Dancing On Ice one. I don't have any worries. We're very much the same person and on the same track," the mum-of-one told OK! magazine earlier this month.
Ben and Jackie tied the knot in 2019 - just a year on from the rugby ace's split from The Saturdays star Una Healy.
After welcoming children two children - Aoife, nine, and Tadgh, six - into the world together, Ben and Una's time as a couple came to an end thanks to the Rugby United New York player's cheating.
Following their split, Ben quickly moved on with current wife Jackie and in 2020, welcomed his third child into the world - daughter Farrah.
Speaking earlier this month, the Dancing On Ice star admitted he owes his ex-wife an apology for his extra-marital affairs and moving on from their marriage so quickly.
"Obviously, what I did was very selfish in regards to Una. I think it was a shock to her, me getting married so quickly," Ben confessed to OK! magazine.
"Una and I hadn't been together for a year and a half but I think what made it bad was it was such a big thing in the media and it was everywhere, so, I did owe her an apology for that and should probably have let her know a bit more about what was going on."
