Ben Doak's progression at Liverpool has taken another step as Jurgen Klopp takes the Celtic academy graduate with him to Dubai.
The Reds are preparing for the second phase of the Premier League season after the World Cup break and those who aren't at the Qatar tournament are going on a warm weather training camp. Stars like Scotland captain Andy Robertson are on the trip and there's a place for Scots starlet Doak in the German manager's ranks.
He left Celtic last season after coming through their academy and making two appearances before the lure of Anfield proved too much. He's risen from a 16-year-old prodigy into one of their brightest talents, lighting up the UEFA Youth League this season and making his senior debut against Derby County in Carabao Cup action. Liverpool will face Olympique Lyonnais and AC Milan in two matches in the Dubai Super Cup before returning to the UK.
Players currently participating in the World Cup will link up with the squad at later dates, Darwin Nunez one star set to arrive next week.
