Rangers £3.5m signing from Liverpool Ben Davies was missing from the Ibrox clubs squad tonight due to an injury.
Giovanni van Bronckhorst revealed the centre-back was out completely after a "little problem".
The Englishman has only started one game since his arrival a month ago from Jurgen Klopp's side.
James Sands has been playing alongside Connor Goldson in his absence with the other left-sided defender Filip Helander also injured.
Speaking before the match on BT Sport, van Bronckhorst said: "He already had a little problem.
"We thought that he would be okay for today but yesterday, we received the news that he wasn't available for today."
