Leeds have already signed Brenden Aaronson from Red Bull Salzburg for £25million and have further plans to strengthen their squad after escaping relegation on the final day of last season.
Boss Jesse Marsch and director of football Victor Orta would like to sign another striker, right-back and central midfielder. Orta also has his eye out for a more-experienced goalkeeper to provide cover for Illan Meslier. Leeds are looking at Huddersfield's Lewis O'Brien again after failing to land him last summer and could have more success this time because the Terriers failed to win promotion to the Premier League.
They are also pursuing Aaronson's old Salzburg team-mate Rasmus Kristensen to boost their options at right-back. Mirror Sport has the latest transfer news, including updates on a second summer signing and Ben Brereton-Diaz.
Kristensen close to becoming Leeds' second summer signing
Denmark right-back Rasmus Kristensen is set to become Leeds' second summer signing, according to The Telegraph.
The Telegraph claim Leeds have beaten off competition from Brentford and Borussia Dortmund to agree a £10million fee with Red Bull Salzburg for Kristensen.
Personal terms have also been settled and the next step will be for Kristensen to have his medical before joining his old Salzburg team-mate Brenden Aaronson at Elland Road. Leeds will see Kristensen's signing as a coup because he has chosen them ahead of Dortmund and Brentford.
Blackburn set £20million pricetag on Leeds target Brereton-Diaz
Leeds are in the market for a goalscorer and The Daily Mail claims they are eyeing up Blackburn's Ben Brereton-Diaz.
Brereton-Diaz is keen to leave Ewood Park because he wants to play in the Premier League. Rovers are loathed to lose the Chile forward, who scored 22 goals in 37 appearances last season, and have slapped a £20million price tag on his head. Blackburn have struggle to receive this much and Brereton-Diaz will soon enter the final year of his contract at Ewood Park.
Leeds pursue West Ham and Birmingham starlets
Leeds have made some shrewd signings for their Under-23s who have graduated to the senior side.
The Athletic claim Leeds are now targeting Birmingham's George Hall and West Ham's Sonny Perkins. The teenage midfielders have already made their senior debuts for their clubs and Leeds hope to tempt them to join them.
Perkins, 18, won the Premier League 2 player of the month for April and has already made two senior appearances for the Hammers. Hall, 17, has played two games for Birmingham and is tipped for a bright future.
