Ben Affleck's upcoming movie Unstoppable, which will star his wife Jennifer Lopez, has "suspended filming" amid the ongoing writers' strike.
Currently impacting much of Hollywood, the Writers Guild of America are striking, with 50-year-old Ben's new movie the latest to have been affected.
Unstoppable is an upcoming wrestling movie about the life of wrestler Anthony Robles, who was born with one leg and won a national championship title in 2011.
Actor Jharrel Jerome will play the athlete, with Ben's wife Jennifer also set to star, while Billy Goldenberg directs the flick.
But Ben's production company Artists Equity, which he runs alongside fellow actor Matt Damon, has been issued a fresh blow.
Unstoppable is said to have been in limbo since mid-week, with filming supposedly paused because of the strikes and subsequent pickets, according to Deadline.
It is currently unknown as to when the flick will resume filming, with reports stating that it is likely to pick back up when the strike ends, if not sooner.
This comes as much of Hollywood endures a standstill after the members of the Writers Guild of America went on strike for the first time in 15 years at the start of May - meaning disruption has been rife for over a month.
Reports say that the main reason for the strike is in support of the unsatisfactory pay many of them are in receipt of, with the members of the guild also demanding regulation in the "use of material produced using artificial intelligence or similar technologies."
The blow to Ben's company comes after he and Jen reportedly sealed the deal on their $60 million mansion, which comes just mere weeks after their alleged red carpet "row".
The loved-up couple, who are often referred to as Bennifer, got married last summer after rekindling their romance from the early noughties.
They first began dating in 2002, with them getting engaged that same year. They then postponed their wedding in September 2003 and officially split in January 2004.
Reuniting, rekindling and then Instagram official on JLo's 52nd birthday in 2021, Bennifer were engaged by April 2022 and married by July - with them due to celebrate their first wedding anniversary next month.
Back in March, Ben confirmed that Jennifer would be starring in Unstoppable when he said in an interview: "She may be doing that movie," before smiling.
Adding: "Can't make it look like she's doing it as a favor to me, but actually she is."
