Ben Affleck denies reports he's dating Kick Kennedy after J-Lo split

Ben Affleck has shot down reports of a romance between himself and socialite Kick Kennedy now or ever.

The actor and the socialite - who is the daughter of Robert F. Kennedy Jr.- set tongues wagging after being spotted hanging out together following his split from singer Jennifer Lopez.

It was further claimed that they had enjoyed a brief fling before he rekindled his relationship with now-estranged wife, Lopez.

Affleck and Lopez originally began dating in 2002, got engaged the following year, and were due to marry in 2003, but decided to split up in early 2004, just four months after their scheduled wedding. In 2021, they got back together 17 years after their initial split.

Following months of speculation about the state of their near two-year marriage, J-Lo filed for divorce last week with legal papers revealing that they separated in April.

A source claimed to the MailOnline that Affleck and Kennedy - who bares more than just a passing resemblance to Affleck’s first ex-wife Jennifer Garner - were now “enjoying” spending time in each other’s company and taking things “day by day”.

A representative for Affleck has now said however that it’s simply not true.

They told the Standard: “This is not true. They are not now or have ever dated.”

Meanwhile, Affleck and Lopez look set for a bitter court showdown as they don’t appear to have signed a pre-nuptial agreement before the tying the knot. There are already rumours of “acrimonious” talks behind the scenes about splitting their wealth, including from film deals and Lopez’s music career.
