Belsonic 2023: Where is the festival held in Belfast this year?

Festival season has officially taken over Belfast with some of the biggest names in music preparing to entertain.

After it kicking off with Live at Botanic Gardens followed by dance festival AVA, Belsonic is preparing to attract large crowds to South Belfast later this week.

Starting with Lionel Richie on Saturday, June 3 stars like Lizzo and Sam Fender will also be making an appearance in the city over the coming weeks.

Where is Belsonic 2023 being held?

Belsonic festival is taking place from June 3 to June 30 at Ormeau Park in South Belfast.

As of 2017, the festival has always taken place in Ormeau Park, having previously been held at the Titanic Slipways and Custom House Square.

Road users are advised to anticipate some traffic disruption in South and East Belfast during the course of the concert nights.

Police are advising motorists that the concert organisers have applied for a series of road closures that will be announced closer to the festival.
