As communities in Florida brace themselves for yet another potentially catastrophic storm, a local meteorologist captured the hearts of viewers as he became visibly emotional while delivering his forecast on air. During a broadcast on Monday, the meteorologist expressed deep concern over the impending hurricane's intensity, particularly highlighting the significant drop in atmospheric pressure that had occurred within a short span of time.

With his voice breaking and becoming shaky, the meteorologist described the hurricane as 'incredible' and emphasized the alarming 50 millibar drop in just 10 hours. Following a brief pause to collect himself, he apologized for his emotional reaction, acknowledging the severity of the situation.

Later in the day, the meteorologist took to social media to address the broader issue of extreme weather events, attributing them to global warming. He urged the public to recognize the impact of climate change and called for immediate action to address the escalating environmental crisis.

Having been a steadfast presence in the South Florida community for years, the meteorologist has played a crucial role in guiding residents through numerous major hurricanes, including Andrew in 1992, the onslaught of Florida hurricanes in 2004 and 2005 which included Katrina and Wilma, as well as more recent storms like Hurricane Matthew, Irma, and Maria, the latter of which devastated his native Puerto Rico.
