A man armed with a knife threatened staff at a shop in Belfast before making off with cash.
The incident happened in the Belmont Road area, in the east of the city, just after 9.55pm on Friday night, May 5. It is reported that a man armed with a knife entered the shop and threatened staff.
He then made off with cash. Police are now appealing for information and anyone who may have dashcam, CCTV or other footage to come forward.

Detective Sergeant Young said: “Just after 9.55pm, police received a report that a man armed with a knife had stolen a sum of cash from a business in the Belmont Road area.
“Officers attended the scene and spoke with a staff member who reported that she had been threatened by the man with a knife, causing her and another staff member to seek safety at the back of the store. The man, who was dressed in black with a snood covering his face, removed money from the till before making off.
“Thankfully, although shaken by the ordeal, the staff members were not otherwise injured.
"Our investigations into the circumstances around this incident are ongoing and we would ask anyone who was in the Belmont Road area at the time or who may have dashcam, CCTV or other footage, to call detectives on 101, quoting reference number 2061 of 05/05/23.”
