Scone Thistle’s resurgence continued with a comeback Midlands League win against Lochee Harp at the weekend.
The Jaggie Nettles had trailed on the road before in-form Sean Hastie levelled the fixture ahead of the half-time whistle.
Second half goals from Kairn Brand and Paul Leask would secure victory for the Perthshire side.
“I was absolutely delighted with the win,” manager Charlie King told the PA.
“The players again were outstanding in carrying out the plan which changed at half-time, but they produced even more to see out the game comfortably.
“That is our second game going 1-0 down now and the second game we have shown the character to come back from it.
“The difference in these players from day one to now is very visible and the belief is getting there.”
King is keeping his feet on the ground after starting his tenure at the club well.
“We have no targets set at all,” he said. “It is purely a case of seeing a consistent team applying themselves properly and realising their potential.”
Scone now welcome Coupar Angus to Farquharson Park on Wednesday night. Kick-off is 6.45pm.
