Belgium Euro 2024 squad: Domenico Tedesco's full team

The Belgium Euro 2024 squad is through to the knockout stages of the tournament, but in unconvincing fashion.

After suffering a shock defeat to Slovakia in their first game, Belgium managed to rally against Romania and produce a convincing 2-0 win. All four teams went into their final Euro 2024 Group E games on the same points, meaning a win against Ukraine would've been enough for Belgium to finish top of the group (Slovakia and Romania drew) but, alas, the Red Devils were held to a goalless draw.

They now face one of the tournament favourites in France in the last 16, as a result, who also came second in their group. A repeat of the 2018 World Cup final, Belgium will look to get revenge on Les Bleus, who have also flattered to deceive so far this tournament.

In order to do that, Belgium will need, Kevin De Bruyne, Romelu Lukaku, Leandro Trossard and Jeremy Doku all on top form, with the attacking quartet having the ability to dispatch teams on their day - it's just a case of showing it at Euro 2024.

Elsewhere, there's a generous blend of youth and experience. Axel Witsel, Jan Vertonghen and Yannick Carrasco are veterans at this level, while youngsters Zeno Debast, Charles De Ketelaere, Johan Bakayoko, Arthur Vermeeren and Andre Onana all provide zip, too.

FourFourTwo won't just be focussing our efforts on Belgium, though. We'll provide the latest on every other squad at the tournament, with information on how to watch each game, too.

Driven, dynamic and data-focused, Domenico Tedesco belongs to a generation of coaches who didn't play elite football, alongside Julian Nagelsmann and Thomas Tuchel, with whom he has worked closely.

The German-Italian boss - indeed, his surname is Italian for "German" - earned a contract extension by going unbeaten in his debut year.

Belgium's star player

Kevin De Bruyne

Kevin De Bruyne is the undisputed star after Eden Hazard's retirement. A Champions League winner at last, the playmaker, who turns 33 after the group stage, has fought back from a hamstring injury that meant his last Belgium cap came in March 2023 (a match-winning display in Germany, no less). He's in ominous form for Manchester City.
