Belfast weather forecast for Monday with sunny spells and cloud

The dull weather continues as forecasters predict an overcast day with occasional sunny spells.

According to Met Office, there will be patchy cloud rolling in across the morning with the chance of some occasional showers.

The weather forecaster also said: "Central and southern areas mainly dry with good sunny spells. Northern coastal districts keeping a mix of light showers between brighter spells."

"Feeling much cooler in east with temperatures well down from yesterdays high's," they added.

Moving into the evening, drier weather is expected.

As for Monday night, Met Office said: "A dry and clear night for the vast majority, with showers restricted to only a few light evening outbreaks across the north coast. Westerly winds easing light and variable."

The maximum temperature for Monday is 17°C and we are expected to have experience lows of 10°C. Sunrise was at 4.47 am and will set again at 10.01 pm.

Looking to Tuesday, the sun is predicted to make a breakthrough for a dry and bright morning.

"Cloud thickening late afternoon. Area of rain spreading from west during evening, before weakening as it crosses the rest of the Province overnight. Maximum temperature 18 °C," Met Office explained.
