Belfast traffic warning ahead of two parades

Police have warned Belfast motorists of potential traffic delays due to two parades taking place on Saturday.

Both are taking place in East Belfast, with the first leaving My Lady's Road at 6pm. The second leaves the Newtownards Road at 7pm.

A PSNI spokesman said: "A number of roads will be closed for a time including; Newtownards Road, Ravenscroft Avenue, Beersbridge Road, Clara Street, Castlereagh Road, Cherryville Street and My Lady’s Road.

"Please follow diversion signs and directions of local police who will have a traffic management plan in place.

"Delays are expected and the parade is expected to finish at approximately 10pm."
