Belfast Live is hiring and we're looking for a brilliant What's On and Entertainment reporter to join our team.
If you've got your finger on the pulse about what's hot across Belfast and Northern Ireland, know what people are watching, and are comfortable interviewing top entertainment stars then this could be the role for you.
You'll be joining Northern Ireland's best-read commercial news platform and a team covering the length and breadth of the country.
In January, our website reached almost 50% of NI's total digital population and we're continuing to invest in people.
In the last few months we’ve brought in reporters on the ground in Derry, Fermanagh and Tyrone to make our website truly Northern Ireland-wide, as well as our first dedicated GAA reporter.
The Ideal Candidate
Who are we looking for?
- Digital publishing skills - working a CMS, shooting video, taking pictures
- You will be social media savvy with excellent SEO knowledge. An understanding of CMS and Chartbeat is desirable
- A valid UK driving licence
- NCTJ or equivalent qualification including shorthand
- Strong track record in telling stories, accurately, which engage large audiences
- Proven track record for digital storytelling
