Belfast will play host to Diversity Fiesta 2022 this weekend, a unique event celebrating togetherness in a shared and safe space.
The event takes place this Saturday, September 3 from 12.30pm on Belfast’s Hope Street in the city centre.
It is a collaboration between Belfast Asian Women’s Academy (BAWA) and Bscr ( Building Skills Creating Results) Sandy Row.

Ana Chandran, chair and founder of BAWA, women from across Asia who have made the made the city their home, said promoting diversity is a responsibility of every good citizen.
She added: "We at BAWA wish to thrive in spreading peace, unity and promoting good relations between different communities. So once again this year we collaborate with the Bscr Sandy Row and celebrate Diversity Fiesta 2022.
"We will have local and international performances and food samples from Palestine, Morocco, Malaysia, Sudan, India and Arabic coffee/tea taster. Our food samples are first come first serve basis.
"This is a free event and everyone is invited to join in. Thank you to the Belfast City Council and the Housing Executive for supporting this project."
