We have lots of exciting things happening this weekend for the Mash Direct Belfast City Marathon.
If you’re heading to the Expo and Pack Collection at Titanic Exhibition Centre or the finish line at Ormeau Park, make sure you say hello to the Belfast Live team.
We’ll have a stand at Titanic Exhibition Centre on Friday and Saturday with our large message board - stop by and tell us #MyMarathon story by writing a message on our wall. We would also love to hear your story for our TikTok so come say hi if you're passing by.

Tell us why you’re running, who you’re running for or write a good luck message for someone you know that’s taking part.
We’ll have lots of free goodies and giveaways for all the family including Belfast Live flags to show your support, water bottles, sweet treats and more.
The Expo and Pack Collections will take place at the TEC Belfast. All participants need to attend the Expo & Pack Collection to receive their race number, t-shirt and bag. *No packs will be posted in 2023 and no packs will be available on race day.
Opening times at TEC are:
Friday 28th April 2023 - 11.30am - 5.30pm
Saturday 29th April 2023 - 10.30am - 5.30pm
In order to collect your pack, you will need your QR code that has been emailed to all registrants – it’s in your confirmation email too, and can be accessed via your Eventmaster account.
To ensure a speedy service for the collection of packs, the organisers have limited pack collections to 3 per person to enable a smooth, fast transaction without putting the team of volunteers under any extra pressure.
If you cannot attend the Expo and Pack Collection you can send someone to pick up your race pack for you. Your nominated person must bring printed confirmation of your QR Code and can only collect a maximum of 3 pack/entries. It is your responsibility to ensure that the participants receive the correct pack and race number if collecting multiple packs.
If you’re heading to the finish line to cheer on family and friends on Sunday, you’ll find our team at Ormeau Park. Get your photo taken with our Belfast Live frame and you could make it into our marathon photo gallery.
We’re also running a fabulous competition this weekend and you could win a £200 One4All Gift Card to spend in a range of businesses.
All you have to do is submit your #MyMarathon story. The competition is open to participants, spectators and volunteers. Our judging panel will select the top photos and put them out for public vote next week. You can submit stories until Wednesday morning, so make sure you get in there quick.

Don’t forget if you’re running this weekend, we’ll be first place with all the official marathon results and verified times on Sunday evening, so keep an eye on our social channels. We’ll send a text message to all runners on Sunday evening once the results are live.
We’ll also have all your race day coverage from announcing the winners and interviews with runners, to lots of photos and all the action from race day. We’ll be live on Facebook at the start line and finish line so keep an eye and you might spot someone you know as they take off to complete the Mash Direct Belfast City Marathon.
