Community groups are coming together to offer a ‘well-being event’ in Belfast city centre.
The organisations will take over the old Tesco building, 2 Royal Avenue, to host a range of experts on February 28.
A range of check-ups are to be made available with over 30 organisations expected to offer their expertise on the day.

Impact Training and Upper Springfield Development Trust have organised the ‘All of You Event’ which is supported by the Public Health Agency through the Clear Project.
Organisers say: “The idea behind the event is to help people that have struggled to cope after the pandemic and may have felt isolated, or just give clients the tools to cope with the new normal. Staff can help clients to budget their finances and in some cases, signpost people to foodbanks.”
They add that with the strain on hospitals and local GPs, the event can also offer some health advice. Staff from Shankill Job Assist and USDT along with East Belfast Mission, Ashton and Gems, have worked together under the umbrella of ‘Belfast Works’ to “contribute to economic growth through enhancing the education, skills and employability of all of their clients”.
A Belfast Works spokesman said: “During the pandemic, staff from Belfast Works continued to dedicate their support, offering advice and guidance on mental health and well-being, signposting to other much needed support services and helping clients to stay safe and well.
“Now Belfast Works is coming to the end of their European Social Funded project, they are still putting the client first by providing support. Over 30 organisations have been invited along to offer wellness checks and complimentary therapies.”
The event will offer checks and advice on:
*Debt/welfare advice;
*Mental and emotional health;
*Menopause;
*Addiction issues;
*Dealing with cancer;
*Physical, mental & emotional health and well-being of LGBTQIA+ people and their families;
*Suicide Awareness;
*Eating on a budget;
*Neuro diversity.
The event will take place in the old Tesco building, 2 Royal Avenue from 10am until 3pm and “promises to help your mind, body and soul”.
