Beirne, Kilcoyne, Coombes and Conway all confirmed absentees for Munster trip to Exeter

Tadhg Beirne, Gavin Coombes and Dave Kilcoyne have been confirmed as missing Saturday's Champions Cup round of 16 clash with Exeter Chiefs on Saturday.

Beirne is awaiting a specialist review on his thigh injury, while Kilcoyne is to begin a period of rehab after seeing a specialist for a neck injury.

Coombes is to undergo a scan on the ankle injury he sustained against Leinster in the URC last Saturday, and is also absent for the Sandy Park clash.

All three Ireland forwards look likely to miss the second leg, too, at Thomond Park. Conway is expected to miss both legs with a knee injury.

Simon Zebo, Mike Haley, Jean Kleyn, Jack Daly and Jean Kleyn all return to full training this week and are available to Johann van Graan.

There is good news on the injury front for Jack Daly (ankle), Mike Haley (knee), Jean Kleyn (leg), Liam O’Connor (knee) and Simon Zebo (HIA) as they all return to full training this week.

As reported earlier, veteran loosehead prop John Ryan has confirmed that he is joining Wasps at the end of the season. Ryan, 33, has played 190 times for the province.
