A couple have lifted the grim lid on what life as a travel influencer is really like.
Giselle and Stephen are a happy American couple who now spend their lives living the dream, visiting some of the most beautiful parts of the world.
While they are unlikely to complain about a life made up of beautiful vistas, waterfall frolicking and diving into crystal water, there is another, less often seen side to their lives.
On their @TheLoversPassport TikTok page Giselle and Stephen sometimes offer a glimpse of this life to their 300,000 followers.
Stephen, who is a travel photographer by trade, loves to capture beautiful shots of his partner in the stunning locations they visit.
In one video they show how they sometimes requires setting their alarms for 6am to get to particular spots - on this occasion a cruise ship pool - while the sun is rising and fellow tourists are still snoozing.
Giselle was still in her pyjamas as Stephen raced ahead to the pool on this specific occasion.
Another video showed the pair getting up at 2am to take pictures of themselves as they looked up at the starry sky.
As beautiful as the dome of celestial specs above them is, few would guess what a eye-blurringly early start capturing the right show would require.
In a third clip Stephen and Giselle can be seen running towards the edge of a wooden viewing platform with a stunning Swiss vista beyond.
Suddenly the video changes perspective and shows a third person running behind them with a camera aloft, capturing the moment beautifully but arguable ruining the romance of the moment.
In another video the pair poke fun at themselves, showing a selection of beautiful travel photos under the caption 'what you think travelling as a couple is like'.
They then lift their curtain and highlight what it is really like through a clip of Giselle flopping down in a deep snow drift and another of her face planting on a cruise ship's wave pool.
There are plenty of other TikTok accounts which aim to show that life travelling the globe isn't always as glamorous as it seems.
One video shows the sweeping oceans and bright sunshine that is familiar to anyone who has seen a Maldives tourism brochure.
The "reality" is a heavy cloud hanging over the horizon which is dumping heavy droplets on the assembled tourists.
Another begins with a shot of a woman sitting in the shadow of the Eifel Tower which stands elegantly lit up above her.
It suddenly cuts to the same monument mired in clouds and a posse of rats who are scuttling around a bin below.
