Two ceremonies, £3million and more champagne than the Oscars - Brooklyn Beckham and Nicola Peltz threw the wedding of the year in Palm Beach.
But as thousands of photographers and make-up artists descended on Nicola's dad's mansion - what really went on behind the scenes?
Our body language expert has provided her unique insight into the event - with Judi James sharing just how understandably tense the evening was for Posh and Becks, what that long smooth really meant and just who was enjoying themselves the most.
It was an six-second wedding kiss, which is around four seconds longer than the usual nervous ritual and it looks very much as though the groom went back for a second peck, suggesting a strong desire to emphasise his love as their marriage was announced.
Brooklyn took the initiative here, approaching new wife Nicole and placing his hands tenderly around her face as he bent his head to one side to kiss. It looks as though she might have reciprocated with a similar face-touch as the one we saw in their romantic engagement photo.
It was Brooklyn’s siblings who, like so many brothers and sisters of a bride and groom, appeared to be having the most fun during the day and fully enjoying the opportunity to party with friends.
Harper in particular seemed in playful mood with the other bridesmaids, throwing an arm around her friend’s shoulders as grinning widely.
The tension might naturally have been showing in Victoria and David’s body language as they walked together hand in hand.
This pose isn’t unusual for them but the type of hand clasp they used was. Victoria had turned her hand palm totally upward to allow David’s hand to envelop hers from on top.
Their fingers were meshed, with the suggestion being they wanted to send each other a message of even stronger support than usual on this important day for their eldest son.
