Beeston water main burst leaves multiple homes flooded with residents evacuated

Ten houses have been flooded in Beeston due to a burst water main. Emergency services are at the scene alongside Severn Trent to deal with the leak which was reported early afternoon on Tuesday, March 7.

Some homes have had to be evacuated due to the scale of the incident. A number of local transport links have been affected by the leak, including NET Tram and Nottingham City Transport, as High Road has been closed in both directions.

In a tweet, Nottinghamshire Fire and Rescue stated: "Update on Beeston flooding: about 10 properties have been flooded and the majority of these have been evacuated. Anyone required to leave their property will be asked to do so by the emergency services.
